Reclaiming his title... let's all help him out
Hi everyone. Since Chets "record" for the most letters on one day has been broken, he would like to try and get it back. His was 7 and was broken with 8. I figure with the group he has, we should be able to take care of this. Maybe with a record that won't be broken. For those who would like to help, we would like to mail a letter to him on the 20th of this month (November), which is this friday. Just send it from your mail box. One forever stamp will get it there. Should be fun. thanks for your support, Brad Remember: Send a letter, Recieve a blessing!
this week..

Transfer calls were today! I got a new compaion. Elder Brown! He is in our zone and i really like him. He is really fun to be around so i’m excited. It will be a great experience. Here is what pres. told me this week after i found out i got a new companion: “Elder Norman, Ok, now go and do great things. Life is always a little tough. But you have the metal it takes to stand up and fight through anything. This transfer should be one of your best. Love you. President”
This week has been interesting. We started church tours! it was great. i love doing them. We did 6 of them on saturday within a 3 hour block! it was insaine. we had doubled up on them so i did one and my comp did another group at the same time. it was challenging but very good.
Bernice had us over for dinner on Sunday and she forgot to get salad dressing so i decided i’d make some for us. i used oil and vinigar and some random spices. it didn’t turn out too bad hahaha it surprised me how good it tasted for randomly putting in stuff. Then she made us tie towels around us so we didn’t get the spagettii sauce on our shirts! haha i’ll send some pictures.
what mess?
Just a little game of basketball...

November 10
Well it has been a very interesting week. So get this, last pday we were playing basketball. It was alot of fun, of course until someone gets hurt, in my case, me! I went up for a layup shot and when i came down, i landed on another elders foot and rolled my ankle. I heard a loud pop too! its wasn’t too good. Within 30 seconds, my foot was swelled up the size of a grapefruit! i could barely walk on it. So i called sister archibald and asked her what i should do about it. She told me to rest on it for a few days and see if it gets any better. So a few days went by and it still looked crappy. My foot was turning purple and 2 days ago my toes started to turn purple too! we didn’t do hardly anything except sit around. We had a grand total of 3 lessons the whole week! very sad.
So today we finally went to the doctor to get my foot checked. He looked at it and moved it around and put pressure on a few areas and kept asking, “does that hurt? does that hurt? how about that?” and i said yes yes and YES!! ouch haha, he gave me a paper and said go to this other clinic and get x-rays. we went there and waited for sister archibald to show up to pay for the x-rays cause they wouldn’t x-ray until its paid, so we waited for about a hour then finally got them done, in about 5 mins. Then they gave us a cd with the x-rays on them and we took them back to the doctor and he looked at them. He said, see this bone and this bone, by the looks of your foot they shouldn’t look like that. They should be broken. Thank goodness it wasn’t, but he said that i tore some tissues which caused the bruses, and streched some ligaments. He said, i can’t play any sports for 1 month and i can’t run, but to just take it easy and walk slow. He said he’d put it in a cast but it wouldn’t help anything. I’m glad it isn’t broke but is just very sore!
